Web Chat

Web chat is included with every hosted OpenClaw VPS bot.

It is the fastest way to start using your bot because it does not require any external messaging app setup.

Exposure Modes

For hosted bots, web chat can be:

  • Public on the normal Cloudflare-backed web URL
  • Private on your customer-owned Tailscale tailnet
  • Both if you want public and private web access together
  • Disabled

Custom domains apply only to the public web path.

Where To Find It

Open your bot in the dashboard and use the Chat tab.

Add Telegram when you want your bot available in a messaging app outside the dashboard.
