Uploads & Downloads
The Files tab gives each hosted bot its own file area.
What Files Are For
Use uploads for:
- reference documents
- prompts and templates
- screenshots and images
- working files you want the bot to use
How It Works
- Files are scoped to the individual bot deployment
- Browser chat can reference files you uploaded
- Images can be previewed directly in web chat history
- Downloads are served back through the dashboard when you need them
Best Practice
- Keep each bot’s files focused on that bot’s job
- Use clear file names
- Remove old files you no longer need
If A File Does Not Show Up
- refresh the Files tab
- confirm the upload finished
- check web chat or support if something still looks wrong
