Assistants
Assistants are ready-made starting points for your bot.
Instead of beginning with a blank setup, you can choose an assistant that already fits the kind of help you want, like inbox support, research, writing, or internal follow-up work.
Why This Matters
Assistants help you get useful results faster because they:
- give your bot a clearer starting role
- suggest the kinds of actions it should focus on
- make setup feel less blank or technical
You can always switch assistants later.
What You Will See In The Dashboard
Inside a bot, open the Assistants tab.
That tab helps you:
- browse the included assistants
- see what each one is good at
- spot whether an assistant needs an extra connection first
- apply an assistant to the bot you already launched
What “Needs A Connection” Means
Some assistants work on their own.
Others need a connected app first, like email, calendars, or another outside service. If that is required, the dashboard will show it before you apply the assistant.
Best Way To Use Assistants
- Start with the assistant that feels closest to your real use case
- Test it in browser chat first
- Adjust your AI setup or add a connection only if you actually need it
Good To Know
- Assistants are included with hosting
- You can change them later
- Browser chat is still the easiest place to test them
- Support can help if you are not sure which assistant to start with
